FAQ about resin veneers
These veneers are made with a layer of synthetic resin that’s bonded to the front of the tooth and sculpted to the wanted shape. The whole process time is reduced compared to other types of veneers.
First of all, we’ll do a complete study of you in order to make a design according to your desires/needs. Based on the photographic and radiological study, provisional veneers are prepared to preview how the definitive veneers will look once they have been made. If you’re completely satisfied, the treatment begins. Then, we start to apply the resin on the tooth and will sculpt it until the desired appearance is achieved.
Not at all. They need exactly the same care as teeth; good oral hygiene and regular check-ups. It’s recommended to avoid very hard foods that could break the veneers and dark drinks or meals that could stain it.
With good care, composite veneers can last, in perfect condition, for many years. In any case, if they become stained, they can be polished or touched up to restore the original color. And, if a small fracture occurs, it can be repaired without any problems.
Composite veneers are custom-designed for each patient, adapting to the structure of their teeth as well as the color and size of their teeth. The results are always completely natural and aesthetic.
